| Shane has been involved as a consultant in the dairy industry for 13 years. He initially joined Livestock Improvement Advisory and spent 9 years as a consulting officer (also known as Dexcel and currently as DairyNZ). For the last 4 years he has been self employed asan independent consultant andjoined Intelact in 2006. He graduated from Lincoln University in 1995 with aBachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) majoring in Farm Management. Shane uses the key Intelact analysis tools including Red Sky Farm analysis and UDDER to develop and help maintain plans to maximise his clients profitability and achieve their goals. | Warren spent six years in Saudi Arabia as Farm Manager of a vertically integrated (zero grazing) dairy farm comprising4,000 head of livestock. On returning to New Zealand in 1994 he started dairy consultancy with Intelact, taking up the position of Managing Director in 1996. Since this time Intelact has become New Zealand’s largest dairy consultancy company, now operating in Australia and South Africa. Intelact has developed a feed supply company (SourceNZ Ltd) a financial planning / benchmarking company (Headland NZ Ltd) and moved into international export and farm developments (Source World Ltd). | ||

| From a farming background in New Zealand, Bill studied for his Bachelor of Agr. at Massey University. His first Management position was on a 1500 cow feedlot operation in Saudi Arabia where he spent 3 years. He then progressed to a 2000 cow herd in Northern Territory followed by 50:50% Share-milking on his parent’s farm. In 1993 a passion for tropical agriculture took Bill to Wye College, University of London to obtain his Masters. The Masters was chosen for its emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to problem solving in farming systems, and the management of development projects. Bill and his family spent 5 years in Jamaica on a 1600 cow dairy unit, also growing coffee and processing milk and juices. On his return to New Zealand he took up a position as a consultant with Intelact to disseminate leading edge technology to Dairy farmers in the Northern North Island of New Zealand. | ||
